Complete all quests!

Join alliance

More members you have in your alliance, the better so make sure to make it as active as possible and that way gather the right number of bonuses frequently. Start by building a few barracks

Even when the game advises you to build only one barrack and take care of it for some period of time, you should definitely invest in building at least three of them to begin the process. That way you will maximize the production of soldiers.

Finish alliance quests

In order to get those loyalty points and gold, you will need to finish the alliance quests - the sooner, the better! This will also make your alliance stronger.

Teleport after joining an alliance

In order to build a strong alliance, you will need to use an item called teleport with which you can move together with all the members and use the advantages of being in an alliance. Make sure to teleport once you join, and keep in mind you can travel this way anywhere you want until your Stronghold reaches level 5.

Build hospitals

Build as many hospitals you can since that way you will make things easier for your troops to rebuild defense once you are attacked. Make sure to have a lot of hospitals, at least as many barracks, so more troops can heal at once.

Visit the Forge frequently

By doing this you will be able to create powerful items for your character. You are going to enough resources, make sure to use them on upgrading your character.

Own resource fields

Once you build a powerful troop, make sure to occupy resource fields on the map, and prepare yourself for not being the only one with that plan. If that is the case, go for it and defeat the troops in order to have the field for yourself.

Get the Alliance Gifts

When a member from your alliance buys an item with real money in the game, all the members in the alliance will receive a free alliance-gift containing some perks and bonuses.

Make sure to open it as soon as possible because the gift will disappear soon enough with all those valuable goodies.

Help out your alliance

Keep a close eye on the alliance tap and if there is any help necessary, make sure to bring reinforcement and keep everybody safe and alliance active. Always make sure that your warehouse is safe. Suitable for hiding as many resources as possible. You can end up damaged even if you are a great player and in a solid alliance, so don’t forget to keep an eye on your warehouse and don’t forget that if other can’t farm your land, they won’t attack it every chance they get.

Defend your troops

You can send your troops to a spot on the map which is not occupied so other players won’t really bother themselves by attacking since there is not much gain of resources. But this can sometimes go terribly wrong so always have plenty of hospitals available for troops to recover and get back on their feet to train.

Balance between skill points

Every time you level up your character, you will get more skill points for investing in the skill tree. Level your troop attacks at first and then focus on research and production of food. The next is to train your troops. Then focus on attack skills right after that.

Pick your quests according to the rewards

It’s really not always the case that the higher-level quests will give you better rewards, so make sure to choose your quests based on the resources and materials you need for upgrading.

Always be active!

Keep your alliance solid and get prepared to take a hit every now and then. Since there is plenty of activities to do in Game of War, you can easily be active quite frequently and also have tons of fun while playing.
